I had a positive experience. The staff walked me through each step and they were patient with my questions. Definitely expensive though.

One thing I noticed is that local firms sometimes outsource things anyway. So even if you think you’re working local they might have national level processes behind the scenes.

I didn’t hire them personally but a friend of mine did. She said they kept her informed and actually reduced what she owed a little. Not life changing but better than nothing.

My experience was decent overall. They communicated clearly and kept me updated. The fees stung a bit but i probably wouldn’t have been able to negotiate as confidently on my own.

My experience was fine but not amazing. They reduced some of my penalties and arranged a plan but i still owed most of the balance. I did appreciate not having to deal with the IRS myself though. If your debt is small it might be better to do it on your own.

I actually had a decent experience. My case was messy with multiple years unfiled. Optima organized everything and got me into a settlement i don’t think i could have achieved alone. But yeah it was pricey.
