I have heard mixed things. Some people swear by them others feel scammed. I think it depends on how complex your IRS issue is.

For me the key was transparency. The local firm I used explained their fees clearly unlike the bigger company I had called first which seemed vague about costs.

For me the biggest benefit was peace of mind. I hated dealing with the IRS directly so paying Tra Tax Relief to do the talking was worth it. Still i wouldn’t expect miracles.

I felt like they did what they promised but not much more. They set me up with a payment plan and stopped the IRS calls. Honestly i probably could have arranged that myself.

They were professional in my case but i felt like once I signed the contract communication slowed down. I had to call them multiple times to get updates. They did get results eventually but i wish they had been more proactive in keeping me informed.

I haven’t used them but i did talk to a few tax relief companies. Most worked the same way with a small upfront fee followed by a much bigger fee if you decide to move forward. None of them promised any results.
