I tried their online filing system once and while it worked, i felt like TurboTax was easier to use. Jackson Hewitt’s site could use some polish in my opinion. The good part was having the option to talk to a real person if i got stuck. That extra support made it feel a little safer than going it alone. If you like human backup, that might be worth it.

I have tried both TurboTax and Taxslayer, and honestly they both worked fine for me. The only difference was the price. Taxslayer saved me money, so i am planning to stick with it. It’s definitely legit.

I switched from TurboTax to Taxslayer because of the cost, and i do not regret it. The process felt almost the same, just cheaper. Everything was filed correctly and my refund came on time.
