Tra Tax Relief
Posted by Marcus on September 6, 2025 at 10:36 amI have been researching different tax relief companies and Tra Tax Relief keeps popping up as one of the options. They advertise that they can help with back taxes wage garnishments, IRS negotiations, liens and even setting up affordable payment plans.
I’m trying to figure out if they actually deliver on those promises. Did Tra Tax Relief make a real difference for you, or was it basically the same process you could handle directly with the IRS?

I worked with Tra Tax Relief last year when i was dealing with IRS letters. They did manage to stop the constant notices pretty quickly. It wasn’t cheap but at least i felt some relief knowing a professional was handling it.

Honestly i felt like most of what they did was something i could have done myself. They set up a payment plan but it was the same one the IRS had already offered me. I wish i had saved the money.

My brother used them and said they were very responsive at the start but after he paid communication slowed down a lot. He did get into a settlement eventually but it took months longer than expected.

I had a decent experience with them. They explained the process well and negotiated a plan i could actually afford. The fees stung a bit but the peace of mind made it worth it for me.

Not impressed. They promised they’d cut my tax debt drastically but in the end all they did was arrange monthly payments. Felt like a waste of time and money.

I reached out to them when i got a wage garnishment notice. To their credit they stopped it within a few weeks. That alone made the service worth it for me even though i still owe the IRS.

Tra Tax Relief was professional but very expensive. They did stop the collections and gave me breathing room. If you’re really stressed they might be worth it but it’s not a miracle fix.

I didn’t hire them personally but a friend of mine did. She said they kept her informed and actually reduced what she owed a little. Not life changing but better than nothing.

My experience was not great. I felt like they kept giving me vague updates without real progress. After six months all i had was a payment plan that i could have gotten by calling the IRS myself.
-
I will say they were nice to talk to and explained things clearly. They didn’t magically erase my debt, but they did handle the paperwork that i didn’t want to mess with.
-
For me the biggest benefit was peace of mind. I hated dealing with the IRS directly so paying Tra Tax Relief to do the talking was worth it. Still i wouldn’t expect miracles.

My cousin used them and had mixed feelings. The company did manage to stop interest from piling up but the upfront fee was almost $3,000. That’s a lot when you’re already broke.
-
I tried them out and honestly didn’t see the value. They pretty much acted as middlemen between me and the IRS. If you’re comfortable making calls yourself you might not need them.
-
The consultation was free which i liked and they gave me a clear breakdown of options. I ended up going with them and don’t regret it. They kept my wages safe, which was my biggest fear.

My experience was okay. Not amazing not terrible. They did stop the collections process but i am still paying off the debt. At least I feel like i have a plan now.
