I have used both TurboTax and H&R Block over the years and honestly i think it depends on how comfortable you are doing things on your own. TurboTax feels more intuitive for me almost like it walks me through everything step by step. But the year i had a more complicated return, H&R Block’s office help was a lifesaver. I don’t think one is outright better, it’s more about what situation you are in that tax season.
