I have used both and honestly TurboTax does feel smoother especially if you are not super confident about taxes. It almost feels like someone is holding your hand through the process. TaxAct is fine if you already know what you are doing but it is not as friendly for first-timers.

I have noticed that every tax season the comparison between TaxAct and TurboTax comes up a lot. Both are pretty well-known names in tax software, but they do have some differences in how they work. TurboTax feels more like a guided experience with step-by-step questions that make the process simple, while TaxAct tends to focus on…

I have to say i was impressed. The interface was not overwhelming and it guided me through the questions step by step. I filed my return got it accepted and received my refund all without paying. I used to dread the fees from other software so this felt like a win.

I was hesitant about using it but i am glad i tried. It filed my federal and state returns without charging anything. I double checked the numbers with another program and they matched perfectly. Everything felt secure and reliable. Definitely legit in my experience.

I think Cash App Taxes is underrated. People assume free means low quality, but it is actually a really good alternative to the expensive software. It covered my deductions and even pointed out one i did not know about. Filing was smooth and i did not pay a single cent.

I filed with Cash App Taxes and had zero issues. No surprise fees no shady practices. The return was filed and accepted quickly. It is simple but it works. I feel like as long as you do not have an extremely complicated situation it is a solid choice.

I used it last year and will probably use it again. The process was smooth easy to follow and did not take long. The refund came just as fast as when i used more expensive software. If your taxes are not overly complicated it is a perfect option. Free and legit.

To me Cash App Taxes is definitely legit. I was doubtful but it worked just fine. It is not as polished as H&R Block or TurboTax but the results are what matter. The IRS accepted my return and the refund hit my account on time. I cannot complain at all for a free service.

I gave it a try for my small side hustle income, and it was able to handle it. I was not sure if it could do self employment but it guided me through. The return got accepted without a problem. I saved a good chunk of money by not paying for upgraded software. I was impressed.

I actually compared Cash App Taxes with TurboTax side by side just to test it. The refund amounts came out exactly the same, which gave me confidence. The filing was accepted just as quickly too. Honestly the only difference i noticed was the cost. Free is a lot better than $100+.
