I tried TaxSlayer Pro and it worked fine for basic returns but i felt it lacked some of the advanced tools i needed for clients with investments. Might work well for smaller practices though.

For me, ProSeries has been the best balance between features and usability. It is not the cheapest but it saves me a lot of time when managing complex returns.

Credit Karma worked well for me when i had only a W-2, but once i had rental income it felt limited. I had to switch over to TurboTax to make sure i did not miss anything important.

I like that H&R Block has both online and in-person options. Sometimes i start online but then feel stuck so it is nice to know i can just book an appointment if needed.
