I have always preferred local preparers because of the personal attention. When i walk into a small office nearby they actually take the time to ask about changes in my life like moving or new income streams. That makes me feel like they’re really paying attention instead of just typing numbers into a system. With big firms it feels like you are just another file to process. Having that personal connection really matters for peace of mind.
