I have told a few friends about Credit Karma Tax and they did not believe me at first because of how much they were paying on other platforms. I understand that “free” can sound suspicious but it is legitimate. There are no extra fees and no hidden catches. The only thing i would point out is that if your taxes are complex it might not be enough. However for the majority of people with standard returns it is a great option.
