Jackson Hewitt is great for people who do not want to mess with tax software. My aunt goes every year because she wants a real person to guide her. She likes being able to ask questions in the moment and feel like someone is accountable. The cost does not bother her because she feels more confident in the results. i think it depends on how comfortable you are with filing on your own.
